These terms cover your use of JonsTube at jonstube.com ("the site"). The site is run by Jonathan Harchick ("Jon", "we", "us"). By using the site you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use it.
What the site is
JonsTube is a free, personal website where Jonathan Harchick shares his own videos and related projects. There are no accounts, no paid plans and no ads.
Using the site
You may watch, browse and share links to anything on the site for personal, non-commercial purposes. Please do not:
- interfere with the site, overload it, or try to get around its security;
- scrape it in a way that degrades it for other people (use the published open data and API instead, where offered);
- use the site to break the law or to infringe anyone's rights;
- present the site, its logos or its content as your own, or suggest that Jon endorses you when he does not.
Videos and third party services
Videos are played through YouTube's embedded player. When you play a video, YouTube's own Terms of Service and policies apply to that player. Some features rely on other services (for example a free weather service). We do not control those services and are not responsible for them.
Content and ownership
Jonathan Harchick owns the videos, names, logos, text and design of the site unless a page says otherwise. Press and media assets may be used for editorial coverage under the usage rules on the press and media pages. Data and code that the site labels as open (such as open data downloads or the public API) may be used under the terms stated where they are published.
Copyright complaints
If you believe something on the site infringes your copyright, see the Copyright and DMCA policy.
No warranty
The site is provided "as is" and "as available". We do our best to keep it working and accurate, but we do not promise that it will always be available, error free or suitable for any particular purpose. Experimental features may change or disappear at any time.
Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent allowed by law, Jonathan Harchick is not liable for any indirect, incidental or consequential loss arising from your use of the site. Because the site is free, our total liability for any claim is limited to zero dollars, except where the law does not allow such a limit.
